We are going through one of the most harrowing times of the 21st century. The very existence of mankind is being questioned during this pandemic COVID19. Our normal lifestyle has been interrupted; we are helplessly confined to our houses. Some, however, have come forward without fear of their own lives. They are our true warriors! They have not returned to their families for days on end. Forgetting rest, entertainment, sleep, they have dedicated themselves to the service of mankind. Donning their PPE kits, disregarding their own discomfort, they have become our true protectors. Our prayers to Mother Goddess Durga are for these COVID warriors. Let Her protect them from all harm and let Her stand as their protector In this festival, we are going to narrate the stories of these warriors -- they, who have returned our near and dear ones safely to our homes. We remember them amidst these festivities and pay our deepest regards to them.
